Matt Stone grew up in a small town in Northern California. At 13, he found alcohol and never looked back. That is until he hit 33 and realized that life was passing him by. It was then that he decided to make the necessary changes to his way of living, and after 20 years of drinking, he was finally able to pull himself out of the despair that addiction brings and he started a new life.
Now, 11 years after that new life began, he has moved back to that same small town and has begun to fulfill a lifelong urge to write. With his wife and two children by his side, Matt has started his writing career in an explosive manner with the simultaneous release of two books: My Valley and The Immortal Witness.
